This evening, the problem of child abuse came to my mind. It's becoming worse each day, especially with abortion being legalised. When these children are abused in their home, no one defends them. AS we know, they always forgive and excuse who do horrible things to them. That's why Our Lord said that unless you become like these little children, you shall not enter the Kingdom of Heaven. So let us pray for these children, who might be helpless, fearful, and alone.
Eternal Father,
At this very moment, we offer up these children who suffered / are suffering from abuse, wherever they are Lord. Extend Your merciful Hands toward them and bring comfort to each of them. Oh the agony of agony... May You show them Your unfailing love and care for them, and may they find comfort in Your Sacred Heart. In Jesus' name and through the intercession of Mary, we pray. Amen.
